Regular Season Round 10: Alicante - MS Academy 74-75

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of SpanishAlicante (11-5) against top-ranked Czech Snakes on Saturday night. Snakes were edged by Czech Snakes (4-0) 75-74 . It ended at the same time the ten-game winning streak of Alicante. Alicante was trailing by 7 points at halftime but managed to get 7-point lead after three quarters before a 22-14 charge of MS Academy, which allowed them to win the game. Guard Matyas Vitek (190-2007) fired 22 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Metodej Pazdera (-2008) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Michael Connelly produced 28 points and 5 assists and Fernando Albert (-2006) added 18 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Alicante's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Despite that victory MS Academy went down to first position due to points difference, which they share with 9 other teams. Alicante at the other side dropped to the twelfth place with five games lost.
